Tuesday 17th April 2012
Dannevirke Fantasy Cave, 60 High Street.  Open 10am – 2pm.  Adults $5 and children $2.
Gallery of History, 14 Gordon Street open from 10am to 3pm.  Adults $2, children 50c.  For more information phone 374 6300 or 374 8091.
Dannevirke Rotary Club meet at the Services & Citizens Club, Queen Street at 5.30pm for a social time with the meeting commencing at 6pm with a meal and then finishing at 7.30pm.
Boot Scooters Line Dancing, low impact, 10am to11.30am at the Scout Hall, Christian Street.
The Elske Centre for over 60's from 10am to 3pm.  Venue: Dannevirke Anglican Church Hall.  Co-ordinator Lorraine Warrington, 374 7649.  The Centre offers its services through Anglican Care and is a charitable trust for the Community.

Norsewood Craft Group meet in the pottery room, behind Norsewood Information Centre from 10.30am - 3.30pm.  Bring you own craft, whatever it may be, and your own food or treat yourself to lunch in the village.  A minimal charge applies towards the power, everyone welcome.

Bonanza Concert starting at 10am at the Dannevirke Town Hall, Guest artists – Graham McCardle from Auckland and Red from Kerepehi, Paeroa. Proceeds to St Johns Health Shuttle, food and refreshements available. Door charge $12 adults, $3 children under 15 yrs.
"Peas and onions for tea", Paintings my Mike Harold. An invitation to the Opening Evening, a narrative series of 27 oil paintings developed from a wartime diary written by Mick Harold in North Africa in 1943. Open to public viewing 10.30am – 4pm.

"Peas and onions for tea", Paintings my Mike Harold. An invitation to the Opening Evening, a narrative series of 27 oil paintings developed from a wartime diary written by Mick Harold in North Africa in 1943. Open to public viewing 10.30am – 4pm.
Westpac 3, 5 or 10km fun run walk. Fire brigade display and open day, spot prizes and sausage sizzle. At the Dannevirke Fire Station at 10am. Entries on day $5 child (under 16), $7 adult, $20 family or $15 team entry. All proceeds going to the Dannevirke Volunteer Fire Brigade Museum.
