Dannevirke Art Society open day from 10am to 3pm at their clubrooms at 30 McPhee Street. Art members will be actively painting and invite the public to come along and see the ARTISTS IN ACTION. People will be able to see works of art in progress which will probably be shown as completed works in our annual exhibition in October as part of the Spring Festival.

FREE OPEN DAY at Rangatira Croquet Club. Find us at 13a McPhee Street at 1pm.  Have you tried Golf Croquet? It's a great way to keep fit and have fun. By just walking around a lawn, swinging a mallet and hitting a ball. We will show you how it's done. If you are 7 years of age or over 90 you can play this game. It's a family game. Mum, Dad and the kids and it isn't expensive. We supply the mallets, balls, hoops and the encouragement. You wear flat soled shoes, your sunhat, casual dress and an eagerness to play. When your games are over we provide the afternoon tea and the social get together. So come and try Golf Croquet and get hooked.
