S.H.B. Scottish Society is holding their Ingleside with Scottish and old time dancing at St. Joseph's Hall, Allardice Street at 7.30pm. AGM to be held at 6.45pm. Families, a plate to share please. Everyone is welcome. 

Teddy Bears Picnic (hosted by Norsewood Lions Club) from 10am to 2pm at the WopWops Wetland Park (New Zealand Natural Clothing, Hovding Street, Norsewood). Bring along your rug, a picnic, your Teddy and enjoy the day. What's happening: Storytelling, face painting, display of bears, stalls, raffles, BBQ. Colour, paint, decoupage a Teddy cut out (everything supplied) to be judged on the day. 1pm – Grand parade of Teddies, prizes for: Smallest Ted, Largest Ted, Best dressed Ted. 2pm – prize giving.

Exhibition of 27 Narrative Paintings by Mike Harold created from a selection of stories from the pioneer days of Aerial Topdressing in the Tararua, Central Hawkes Bay and Wairarapa regions. A limited edition book of the paintings will be available for purchase at a cost of $35 per copy, in support of the Phil Lamason Heritage Centre Trust, Dannevirke.
